Your donation helps mothers worldwide to breastfeed.

All donations to LLLI are tax deductible in the US. With more than 7000 volunteer Leaders around the world, you can be sure that LLLI will leverage your donation to reach as many mothers and babies as possible. Your support will help us increase the number of babies who are breastfed and support mothers to breastfeed their children until the baby outgrows the need.

Your generous donation supports the work of LLLI in 63 countries. These funds enable us to produce the most current and accurate breastfeeding information in the form of books, pamphlets, information sheets, and on our award-winning website. These materials enable volunteer Leaders to share breastfeeding information with women and their families, as well as health care providers, in their communities. LLLI also uses your donation to train Peer Counselors to work with women in low-income areas and ensure they have the support they need to breastfeed their babies. Other LLLI programs such as the Center for Breastfeeding Information, parenting conferences, training for physicians and lactation consultants, and outreach to international organizations, all benefit from individual donations.

While LLLI seeks grants from foundations and government agencies, these funds are generally unavailable for administrative costs. Your individual donation enables LLLI staff to implement the activities that are so important to supporting breastfeeding mothers.
